The harsh frozen southren pole of Telos IV is restricted to Jedi Knights. No student of the academy is to venture into the snow.

The Scarab descended onto the snowy surface of Telos in silence. Dextral's stealth technology was top of the line, and the limited training he had in the Jedi Arts was enough to conceal his presence. He had chosen a location 10km from the Jedi base. It was a massive complex that he doubted held as much as it could. The heat scans he ran came up empty, but the layers of rock and dura-steel were to blame. Dextral climbed up the ladder to the top of his ship. The frigid winds were kept at bay by the isolated armor he wore. He pulled out his sniper rifle to scan the lay out of the outside defences. He found four automated turrets he would have to disable for the gunships to get in, and a hangar hatch that had at least a wing of x-wings and three shuttles. Dextral released three probe droids to circle the encampment and take in the bases other defences and openings. ***** Two hours later ***** Dextral was prepared. He was going to first lock up the hangar so that the escapees would only have the option to escape on foot. Then He'd systematically reprogram the turrets to recognize Imperial Craft as friendly's, and finally he'd wire the main top side door open. Easy. But although it appeared simple, it was not. The Jedi would notice if the Hangar malfunctioned, and he'd have minutes to act if he wanted it to go flawlessly. After the Hangar was locked he would have three minutes to administer the coma gas into the primary air duct and the two secondary ducts and lock them out. Then five, to reach the Main access point on the roof of the base. Once it was open he'd had access time to bring down the turrets and shield. But that was risky as well as he would be alone for the time it took for the commandos to begin the siege. He mapped out his plan in detail on his data-pad showing the exact timing he would be using and when the Imperials should arrive. He also marked the locations to land and the areas the gunships should target, namely were he presumed secret escape tunnels to be located. Once he was sure of his information his encrypted it and sent it to the Specter to be confirmed. As soon as it was sent he mounted his swoop bike and headed out for his starting position.
