History/Background: Sometimes, I still hear their screams in my dreams. I don’t know what made us a target, we were just simple people leading simple lives as we moved from one system to the next. My father was a human doctor, my mother a Sephi nurse; unwelcome on his homeworld by his xenophobic family, my parents had decided to travel the Galaxy, healing any and all that they could. I was born in the middle of nowhere, in between planets. My parents pride and joy, they raised me to be just like them, to focus my life on helping all those that I was able to reach. But then the war came, found us planet side, trapping us away from our ship and in the middle of a battle ground. There was no where for us to run; my parents hastily placed me in a fall out shelter and ran out to help those already injured the battle. Their screams echoed in my head hours after they were already dead.
After the battle, I was found by a traveling Jedi, come to see to the aftermath of the battle. For years we traveled the Galaxy, though eventually he died and I traveled to the Temple to finish my training. While I’ve grown away from my fears that were spawned by the war, sometimes at night my nightmares return, sometimes I hear their screams as they die. And sometimes, I hear my own screams as I feel them leave me alone. I want to be a healer, like they were, and I want a family to replace the one I lost. Will I be a good Jedi? I don’t know, but I do know I will put all I have into it, with everything that I lay claim to.
