The Jedi Code Reads as follows
There is no emotion, there is peace
There is no Ignorance, There is knowledge
There is no Passion, There is serenity
There is no death, There is the force

Advancement in the Jedi Order:
Knighthood:
For a Padawan to attain the level of knight they must prove themselves capable of handling the station and the responcibility that comes with it. They can do this through several different methods.
1. They can show a great ability with the force along with bravery and self control.
2. After spending some time with a Master they may request to take the Trails which will then be decided upon by the Jedi counsil and the trails they would face would be decided at that point.
3. After a great/noble act a master may grant a padawan the title of Jedi Knight
Master:
The only way to become a master is to prove to the Jedi Counsil you are ready. The counsil shall vote on it and if there is a majority for it, the Knight will become a master.
Counsilor:
In the sad event of the lost of a counsil member, the remaining members will take a vote on who shall take there place. Only a Jedi Master may be chosen, and no one but the Grandmaster may place them on the counsil.
