History/Background: Odin was born into a high standing Jedi family, his father was the Count of Ossus and he was set to replace him. In his youth Odin trained on Yavin IV along with Russle Faraday, Lady Mina, Korun. All were good friends.
At age 15, he become the first padawan of the Great Jedi Hero Ruulik. Odin and Ruulik were opposites to say the least. Ruulik was a Weaponmaster, Odin a up in coming Consular, but together they formed a tight team. After training with Ruulik for a year, it was clear to her that he surpassed her in force ablity, so she sent him on a mission to find a suitible teacher.
Odin traveled to many worlds with strong force connections, Dagobah, Ilum, Rakata, Byss, Hoth, Ossus, Yavin, Onderon, Tatooine, and many others. He had many teachers, and each thought him something new.
As Odin traveled starport to starport along the outer rim, meeting people and sharing stories, he met future padawans, Magmas and Jobe Flagg. Each would go over to the Empire at the start of the war.
After three years of study he returned to his Master who gave him the rank of Knight.
After gaining this rank Odin began studying the more complex force powers, hidden deep in the Jedi's history. Odin knew he was close to touching the darkside with some of these powers, but the break out of another war goaded him into it.
Odin only had two Padawan's, Flagg and Magmas. Jobe was a quick learner, gifted and powerful, with minimal trailing from Odin, Jobe was able to pass his trails for knighthood. Magmas was the same.
Right after the war broke out, Jobe asked Odin if he'd never be willing to join the Empire, Odin said no, and within a week, Jobe and Magmas had deflected with numurous others.
At age 28 Odin became a Jedi Master after lending aid to Ruulik and Trask on Onderon.
Two years later Odin was with Trask and Ruulik on a mission for the puppet General Zhao to Bomis Koori IV. While on the surface a explosion destoryed the Alora along with Russle Faraday, and Odin's long time secret love Mina. Like Tabris Karr before him, Odin blamed Trask.
Odin set himself a personal exile in the form of rebuilding the Jedi temple on Yavin, that had been destoryed during the mission to Onderon.
A few months after Bomis Koori IV, the Jedi Order captured Largero (who had went rogue), and Odin was one of the councilors who argued for exile over execution.
Odin stayed as the acadimic instructor of the Yavin IV academy, since it was rebuilt.
Odin aided in the defeat of the Empire above Coruscant in 225BBY, he fought his former padawan Jobe Flagg in a battle of wills, and in the end he won, Jobe fled and the Emperor was killed.
When Trask became the new Grandmaster after Grandmaster Ruulik’s death, Odin’s was chosen to be his second in command.
